I'm very happy to add another page from this series. In my humble opinion, it was the best work Steven did and he was at the top of his game in these four issues.

Love the energy in this piece, Purgatori is so badass in these panels!

I think badass sums it up quite nicely on that sequence of Purgatori images, awesome! Stand out work from Hughes on this standout 90s indie title at the time. congrats!

Thanks Kavi! I think my favorite thing about this run of pages are his painstaking ink hatching. Makes my wrist hurt :D

Hughes' art was the catalyst for the bad girl genre to flourish! It brought the sexy and the demonic into mainstream focus. It defeated the cancel culture of morality censorship of the time and probably hastened the end of the comics code.
