I loved this well written issue drawn by my personal favorite comic artist John Paul Leon. John Paul Leon after his run on "The Further Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix" was brought back many years later to do this single issue of Weapon X that continues on with the back story of Mr. Sinister. It's awesome that the industry brought back John Paul Leon to continue this is an entirely different series.

A little blurb on the issue:

1944, the peak of World War II, and Mr. Sinister is collaborating with Nazi leadership to conduct experiments on mutants within their concentration camps.

Wow! Horrifying storyline. It's reminiscent of the Sweet Tooth experiments and something we wanted to do more of in the New Mutants movie. Cool page.

Those are some great heavy lineweights. John Paul Leon's style plays right into the spooky horror atmosphere. That second panel is like his homage to classic illustration of Doctor Frankenstein's lab.

Tough subject matter but illustrated excellently by JPL, which is no surprise. congrats on the addition from your fav comic artist.
