DescriptionThe Atom #13 page 23- July 1964Man, these twice-up pages are really cool. This is my first, which features powerful nostrils throughout as Ray Palmer races to catch bad guys stealing a coin collection. Love the dialogue and the clothes from this era. And as a bonus . . . Gilbert Kane’s grocery list. 3 porterhouse steaks 6 yogurt pineapple 6 apples 6 tangerines 3 tomatoes cucumber cookies 6 black cherry-no cal Social/Sharing |

Gil Kane's a beast! I can only muster 2 porterhouse steaks with a single yogurt pineapple chaser. Pro eater for sure. Now to try and figure out if the Atom got the coins back!

Anthony is bringing the comic to OAX. We can find out together.

Without 'em he probably couldn't afford the groceries.

I always loved Murphy Anderson inks over Gil Kane.

This is your first Twice Up page, or your first Twice Up Atom page, or your first Twice Up Atom page with Gilbert Kane's grocery list on the back? either way, the art has such a classic and timeless look. congrats!

I put the list into ChatGPT to see if it was possible that these were ingredients for something. But yes, greatness was the output.
