Description

I've been wanting to get a piece of art from Ron Adrian for a while now - been seeing his stuff for sale on ebay and thought it was pretty good. My first choice would be a Fairchild from Gen13 since I've seen some really great ones that he's drawn, but they always get super-expensive. Earlier this year, his art rep offered this sketch of Gladiator from Marvel's Imperial Guard, and it just so happens that I really love the Guard (sure it has a lot to do with my undying love of the Legion, which the IG was a very blatant nod to) and thought this very imperious pose was perfect for the character. Since it was *just* a guy pic, I got a really great price on it, to boot. One day I'll get that Fairchild, but I'm really happy with this piece. Pencils on 8-1/2x11 drawing paper.
