Description

I would bet that 99% of the art on CAF cost less than what this piece cost me in 1999. I sold the best Golden Age comics that I had collected over 33 years to pay for this one watercolor, an exceptional example of the work of one of the most popular Victorian artists. This painting was used as the poster image for the traveling 1999 British exhibition of Birket Foster's watercolors.
