Description(Obtained from Dominique Léonard in 2009) I'm proud to own a piece done by one of the Silver (& Bronze) Age greats: Dan Adkins, comic artist, painter and inker, who has worked closely with Wally Wood, Jack Kirby and many others. For this piece Dan Adkins inked a Gil Kane pencilled Superman (lightboxed from printed pencils) on thick Bristol paper in 2007, granting present day fans a lush peek back into the glory of futures past. I hear mr. Adkins is quite the gentleman. And from what I've seen presented on this very site, he's quite the (nicely rendered) ladies' man as well. [dimensions 35,6x28 cm or 14"x11"]Social/Sharing |
