DescriptionHaruhiko Mikimoto is the cartoonist of the manga comic series Marionette Generation published in English by VIZ. He is best known as an animation character designer for Macross, known as the first arc of Robotech in the US, Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, and Aim for the Top! Gunbuster. Noriko Takaya is the heroine of the latter direct-to-video series from Gainax. She's the daughter of a famous space captain and trains to defend Earth against alien invaders.I was unprepared for the autograph turned sketch session without any blank paper. I removed the dustjacket from my Macross book and turned it inside out. By the time I got to meet him, he was no longer taking requests. Everyone got a Noriko drawing. It worked out fine for me as I watched the video after the con and came to love the show. Social/Sharing |

Nobody here will likely care about all those managaka or character designers but I do appreciate all those super nice sketches ;)
