DescriptionLooking like a reformed Lampwick from Pinocchio our young troop carries the tools of his "MOS". During 1943-45 the Casad Ordinance Depot in New Haven, Indiana served as a secretive army storage depot where all sorts of wartime materials were stockpiled, such as rubber, chrome, graphite, aluminum and iodine. - This artwork is unique in that 115 original signatures of the post engineer organization were placed on the back of the framed artwork after receiving it from the Disney Studio in the Autumn of 1944. Also published as cover to Vol. 4 of THE MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS published by Maintenance Publications Office, War Plans Division.Social/Sharing |
