Description

Original artwork by the legendary Charles M. Schulz (writer and artist of the Peanuts strip, and creator of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, etc.). He did the art for Charlie Brown (his signature character) for a theatre program cover (which also includes 2 additional characters by artist Stanton Keeney). This was for a feature of "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown". It is my understanding that Mr. Schulz also became a fan of the theatre (which was in his local area of Santa Rosa, CA), even buying out the house for a Christmas party for his employees one year. Also included is the published program, which can be seen in the second picture. The art board measures approximately 15" by 21". A fantastic piece from one of the all-time legends of comic art.
