Karate Kid vs. Judomaster by Freddie E. Williams II and Simon Gough

I first saw Freddie�s art in Grant Morrison�s Mister Miracle miniseries, but I became a fan when he had his stint on Robin. I dig his clean lines and the way his action scenes seem full of energy. His art book, "The DC Comics Guide to Digitally Drawing Comics," is a must-read. His gig on JSA All-Stars has really impressed me and I love his take on Judomaster, so of course this commission just had to happen. Freddie drew one of the fiercest-looking Karate Kids I�ve ever seen in this piece, and I�d love to see what�s happening one second later in this fight.

Val Armorr may be far more skilled than Judomaster, but the simple fact is she can�t be touched by any of his blows. So I don�t know how he will win this fight. He�ll have to use his wits to figure out a way to incapacitate her while dodging her attacks, so it won�t be easy.

If you like this piece then go buy some books featuring Freddie�s art.

I do like this piece. Freddie WIlliams is doing great art on All Stars. I just have problems following the story.
