Description

The Flash finds himself taking on the super villian The Top, who apparently has come back from the grave. We start off this page with The Flash vibrating througn the walls as the Top has learned a new trick and takes on the form of his name. When I first started reading this comic book, Irv Novick was the regular artist. He brings a graceful fluidiity to the Flash's movement that was vital for the fastest man alive while creating beautful panel art that moved the story along.

MIn the years of 1977 through 1980ish, my Dad and I would go to the newstand on Sundays, where he would buy this comic book for me. We'd get home and I'd read the comic book and he'd read the comic book after me, following the adventures of Barry Allen. These stories have a significant meaning for me and I'm super thrilled to be able to add original art from them to my collection.

Seeing this makes me realize how I miss the silver age and villains like the Top going up against the Flash.
