Description

The framing of my Mutant X covers was inspired by Lou Haberman's amazing walls of framed art. Everyone has their own framing preferences for framing, but I prefer to have the white mat with a second black mat below. I want the art to command the attention, not the framing.

Yeah, it's been a lot of fun collecting these. Its been a real project with definite ups and downs. Having a focus for the collection allows me to "make progress" as opposed to just your average collection that has no end in sight. Not that there is anything wrong with collections like that - but if I want to have a collection that really stands out but that is kept within a tight budget - I have to do something unique, and to me that is assembling a run of covers - which you just don't see that often. Its like complete comic interiors - you don't see it often - but when you do - you remember it. That's what I want out of my collection.
