Description

At Heroes Con, I met Jennifer Bennett, who does amazing custom plush toys through her website, www.handmadestuffs.com. In trying to think of a character who has long deserved a wave of merchandise, my thoughts came to Richard Hughes and Ogden Whitney's classic surrealist hero of the 1960s, Herbie the Fat Fury -- beloved by Alan Moore, Bob Burden, Marv Wolfman, John Byrne, Jim Valentino and more! Here is the result -- I think I'll be getting more commissions in the future.
