DescriptionThis is me plugging into the excitement of the upcoming Avengers movie. If someone had told me as a kid about this film, I'd have felt like I'd died and gone to heaven. The Avengers were always one of my favorites, at least until Roy Thomas stopped writing the book. Maybe the Fantastic Four was still The World's Greatest Comic Magazine, but Thomas' Avengers issues sure gave it a run for its money.

Definitely agree. It does look better in B & W. To be fair, it always does to me. I do like the composition of the characters, particularly Cap on the horse and Black Knight. Love the Widow's hair as well. Nice score and I am willing to bet that this piece of art will foster more fond memories than the DVD release of that Avengers movie soon to come.

Very Dramatic Piece. Don't think I would have given the published version the time of day, but the original is smokin'. Nice pick-up Mark.

Very nice cover, Mark! And yes, me too I do agree about coloring: I think that Stewart himself will thank you for sharing his original artwork.

I think the coloring was pretty good-- you have to keep in mind that it's a Marvel Adventures book, meant for younger kids and with a lower print run and budget. . . but the black & white version is KILLER!

Much better in black and white, where the sharp contrast gives it a much better feeling. Congrats on a great pick up
