DescriptionHere is the 1 in 50 variant cover for Wolverine issue # 300 by the amazing Jim Cheung!!! This issue kicked off the "Back in Japan" story arc by Jason Aaron and was published by Marvel January 11th, 2012. This piece was originally done for the 2010 PBA Charity Auction and then used by Marvel for this amazing cover.This issue marked the first appearance of the new Silver Samurai: Shin, the son of the Silver Samurai. This issue also marked the first appearance of a new villain from the Hand, Azuma Gōda. I was very bummed to miss this piece a few years ago, so I feel very lucky to be able to add this to my collection now. I'm excited to see this piece was also used for 'Wolverine X-Men Alpha Omega #1' 2nd print cover released February 22nd, 2012! This piece was also used in the top corner of Wolverine issues #1-5 published by the French wing of Panini comics in 2012! Social/Sharing |

Well, well, well...extremely nice win indeed my friend! Its it an extra special treat when a commission becomes more than just a commission? Makes it all the sweeter and this commission/cover couldn't be in a better collection indeed. Thanks for sharing...

I remember when i listed that piece for the PBA auctions and thinking Mr Cheung had oudone himself, seeing it as a cover just confirms it, congrats :)
