Description

Absolutely gorgeous page from Slaine book II. Biz has really hit stride by this stage. His confident use of the paints/markers/sprays and bold use of colour is truly outstanding.
Slaine himself never looked better than at this point of the run (book II parts 2-8), less of the generic hero-type that he was in the first book and rendered with far more care and love than in (the latter part of, especially) book III.

I have to pinch myself that I actually own this!!
(my favourite page alongside Book III pg24)

Fantastic page, so full of atmosphere - Bisley at the top of his game. A page from Bisley's run on Slaine is one of the gaps I've yet to fill (might never happen, to be honest) but it's always great to see more of his work from this period.
