Description

This is a double page splash, pages 2-3 of Arak #45 by Gerald Forton Penciller and Tony DeZuniga Inker. Nice nautical scene. The disadvantages of being an avid comic art collector who isn't particularly a comic book fan are clear to me. Arak is apparently a Native American Conan-like male character, which makes this middle-eastern scene hard to fathom. The character in the foreground is apparently green and is called "Butterfly Woman". I'm not sure who the narrator is supposed to be on this page. It's a wonderful page though. I'll have more to say when I see a copy of the comic.
