It's nice but I don't see much of Mike in this piece. I would love to have seen the pencils.

Michael Golden was the editor of the Impact line at this time, and he loved Netzer's dynamics, but thot the amount of line work was way to over the top for the Impact books, which were aimed at a younger audience. I don't have a copy of the pencils, this was so long ago...but the dynamics and the energy still remains! Hope that helps out the "look" and good eye for seeing it! Art direction was a really "good" thing working with Michael Golden as an editor, he knew what he wanted and "asked" the people to produce work fitting to the audience. Something most editors today don't have the vision to do. My direction on this was to simplify and to give it a nice "Joe Sinnott" line. Hopefully I did well.

You definitely added to my appreciation of the piece and the struggles of great inkers.
