Description

Found Another One! I guess I knew that it was inevitable - after going through all sources which I could find and posting all images which I found in chronological order by date of sale, I came across a photograph of another one of Schomburg's great cover recreations. I now know that some of my copies of Collectors Showcase auction catalogues are not where they should be. At the moment, I can't find some of the catalogues in the numbers 80s and 90s, but I am certain that I have them and that they will all turn up someday. Until that day comes, I cannot guarantee that there wasn't another Schomburg painting or two sold around 1986 or 1987, which I assume is the case with the painting shown here.
