Description

Mattew Dow Smith channels his inner Mike Mignola for this project. Day of Judgment was a fun DC event from 1999. I love the eclictic mix of characters here -- Faust, Green Lantern, Deadman, Firestorm, the Atom, Zatanna, the Enchantress. I find the Firestorm figure in Panel 3 to be especially striking.

I picked this up from a dealer at Comic-Con Interntational in San Diego for a song years ago. I'm guessing the simplistic nature of the characters in silhouette in the first and last panels is what led the dealer to price this page so low, but I think it's a lot of fun.
