As far back as I can remember, I've loved seeing the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies by Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, Friz Freling, Frank Tashlin, Michael Maltese, Maurice Noble, Mel Blanc, June Foray, Carl Stalling, and other great artists. The best of these brilliant animated shorts hold up today. I own hundreds of these cartoons on VHS tape, laser disc, DVD, and BluRay.
I hardly own any vintage production art, but the characters are hugely popular and continue to appear in comic books and other licensed outlets. I've picked up a few pages and met some of the artists who create them.
