DescriptionOh, this page is SO much fun! Classic Hulk! For some strange reason, the Bi-Beast was one of those odd Hulk villains that really stuck in my mind from childhood - and not for the double-entendre moniker; he was just truly bizarre and a delight to see Herb Trimpe's monstrous rendition of the creature! And speaking of monstrous, back in the day, one of the things Hulk always did well was decimate giant monsters - a real staple in his silver and bronze-age adventures. Well, on this gorgeous fight-fest of a page, Hulk gets to take on both the Bi-Beast AND the Wen-Di-Go! in giant form, and still come out on top! Love the design here, got to adore his full-figure poses, and the centrepiece for me is his evil expression - very reminiscent of his Mr Fixit look - just prior to beating one big monster with the other! Today's lesson, boys and girls? Do NOT mess with a powered-up, strategically-thinking Jade Goliath - whatever your size! Bonus fun: can you spot Spidey and the Vision hiding out on this awesome page? |
