This one, by Edwin Austin Abbey, is especially intriguing to me because I've become quite fascinated by crosshatching and the way artists like Abbey create a sense of light and shadow in simple inkwork. Anyway, thanks for sharing these great examples of illustration!  Uh oh, sounds like you are getting the pen and ink illustration art bug!
