Beautiful page by one of my all time favorite art teams! Colan masterfully moves figures around the page in that middle 3 panel sequence and shows that even though he possesses all the dynamism of traditional Marvel storytelling he still retains the style that made him so unique among his silver age peers. Wow major nostalgia unlocked! Leinil teaching readers how to draw Wolvie and Ed McGuinness teaching readers to draw Superman are still burned into my head from when I was a kid! Congrats on a unique pick up! 

Yeah I particularly like those early BTAS concept drawings BT did that are really Caniff/Robbins-y. The 70's era of Hazard is when Robbins shrunk the size of board he was working on as well so I feel like his work actually tightens up a bit in a really interesting way from the peak brushy-ness of the late 60's. I also think this goes against the prevailing criticism of his later work that he got too sloppy and loose for the fans.

Wow that's the good stuff!! I think I commented on your Pearson piece that it was one of my favorite renditions of Wolverine and you can obviously see the DNA of that here. The dutch angle and the detailed pipe work that acts as speed lines gives this piece so much energy. Awesome pick up!

Great pages! I was always fascinated by artists like Bachalo who played with incorporating motifs like this into their page design but I never really thought of McDaniel as someone who experimented with it. I'll have to give this run a look through again. 

Wonderful 50's example! I love how he solved the problem of the plane being the same size and similar silhouette in panel 2 and 3 by blacking it out in the last panel. It also adds to the feeling of the plane moving away from you. Congrats!

This has all the hallmarks you could want in a Bob Peak piece from the tremendous draftsmanship to the evocative composition and striking color choices! It screams cool! Congrats on picking up this beauty! 

Great page! TBH I'm usually torn about painted comics but you're right about graphic elements being added to the mix makes it quite a bit more interesting. I love the 3 panel sequence at the top, really beautiful storytelling that gives you a glimpse of how terrifying an encounter with the Hulk would be.

Has anyone checked on Tyler? Was he able to stop staring at this piece yet or is he fully in the grasp of a facehugger now? 😆 Incredible pick up man! It's amazing how well he was able to use that spatter technique to bring out the volume in the forms. If Marvel was smart they would through all the money at Harren to do the ultimate Alien book for them.

Wow!! Perseverance pays off in a big way here because this is spectacular! I've always been a big Dwyer fan and he absolutely does the Simonson designed Archangel Justice in this splash page and the wings beautifully offset all of the texture and detail in the background. Big congrats man! 

Great Kolins pages! His open line hyper detailed style makes for a really striking depiction of the Thing. In an alternate universe he would've had a great run on the FF in his prime coming off of the Flash and alternating arcs with Ringo.

Beautiful piece! Jones was such an amazing designer of poses and could wring such incredibly specific expressions from his characters that are almost impossible to describe but everyone knows exactly how they feel.

Wow what a perfect page to have from this series! It has all the hallmarks of Daniel's style you would want on a page and you have the added story of fending off hundreds of people to get it! Congrats! I am also not much of a wrestling fan but because of his kindness and enthusiasm on his livestream shows and of course the incredible work he does I'll always show up for whatever he's working on regardless of subject matter.
