I'm both a Guardian and Denis Rodier fan! This is such a special piece and a splash no less! Congrats! Denis' finishes here are channeling Kirby while being faithful to Tom's style. 

I love seeing the original pencils of this card set considering they were somewhat obscured by the CGI coloring and chromium layer. Barely missed out on this one during the CAF Live it was offered in. I shouldn't have hesitated =) Congrats! 

A truly special piece indeed. I always felt that Dave Gibbons made the Nite Owls the most relatable of the Watchmen cast and so I think I understand how meaningful this piece is for you. Cheers!

Primo Keown Hulk page, congrats! Keown's Hulk is so good, it was used by Capcom of Japan for their 2d Marvel fighting games beginning in 1995!

Agreed! 90's comics get ragged on a lot, but there was a lot of experimentation and fun that ensued as well. Jim Balent on Dark Claw was an inspired choice. Would love to get at least the OA for the Amalgam trading card!

I got this Cap annual when it came out and enjoyed it immensely! One of the rare annuals where every story was good especially the main one featuring this page (written by Roy Thomas) which I always thought was awesome! Congrats!

Thanks! I love the Kubert Brothers' art and their trading cards were some of my fave from this period! Since these were colored via CGI and not inked, the originals provide a unique glimpse of their pencils which are exquisite.

These are objectively the best pages of this run. Jaw dropping. I wonder if we could ever get an Artist's Edition of this Jim Lee run? 

I can point to this singular piece of art as the one that made me a lifelong comics fan, Jim Lee and Scott Williams fan, and Captain America fan. It's just so good, it's been reused several times for t-shirts, posters, stickers, and cards, as well as the basis of the character design for the Marvel-themed Capcom crossover fighting games. Iconic pose, balanced composition and detail by Jim Lee complemented by sublime finishing by Scott Williams. On top of that it's the first page in the now-classic Chris Claremont standalone X-men issue. Truly one for the history books.

Very happy to see this! Wish we could all see more of Claudio's original Marvel and DC art! Wonder who's got them. I know there was a massive Marvel Universe art he did with all the characters grouped into their respective families. 

This is my favorite hero card of this series. First exposure to Cyborg as a character and really like the then-modern take design even though it's not as iconic as the classic. 

I love the Cap issues by Jack Kirby embellished by Syd Shores! This is one great example. =)
