Billy Debeck. Barney Google 1932. Owner: Valentin Emeterio Comment posted on 11/5/2012 This Google original is from 1932 - see Jerry Robinson's The Comics, first edition, 1974, at page 72. It is part of a sequence in which Spark Plug ingests some "goat gland," which is why he is Baaaing and chasing the cans which Barney holds out in front of him in the third panel. |

Gasoline Alley 6/20/24 by Frank King Owner: Jeff Singh Comment posted on 10/21/2012 This really is a nice and very interesting example of King's work on this travel sequence. How many other comic strip artists have ever even attempted to draw the wind? |

Avengers Vol 3 Issue 1 Cover - George Perez Owner: Brian C. Comment posted on 8/25/2012 You win! This really is the best example of George Perez' work, as well as his best image of Captain America. And that is saying a LOT! I wish I had ever had an opportunity to buy this one. |

Little orphan Annie 1st year Owner: George Hagenauer Comment posted on 8/18/2012 Very nice original. I especially like the images of Annie's doll and first friend, Emily Marie. Even though the doll first appeared on November 5, 1924 and was in a number of strips before this one was published, just a little over a year later, I have never seen another original which shows her. Actually, the Mugar Library at Boston University has almost all the first year originals, which is why extremely few have ever turned up for sale. |

Centaurette from Fantasia 1940. Owner: Richard Martines Comment posted on 1/25/2008 Beautiful drawing, which would complement my similar one. Although the scales are somewhat different, as I recall, drawings from both scenes are VERY scarce. Congratulations on finding such a nice one! |

Alex Raymond: Flash Gordon, 2-23-1936 Owner: Rob Pistella Comment posted on 4/22/2006 When did this notion that Raymond peaked in late 1935/early 1936 come into vogue? In the 1960s and 1970s, it seemed to be the consensus that the 1938 to 1939 period was the peak for Flash Gordon -- by then, Raymond seems to have learned that less can be more with respect to his superb line-work. |
