Tradd goes crazy with geometric angles waist up.  At first I missed the face,  the floating holster virtually resembles a gun floating in space.  The holster and shirt move your eye through the picture.  Tradd demonstrates his imagination has no bounds. 

Any Shadow by Gianni is special.  He captured the pulp fell perfectly. 

The textures are amazing as is the design.  Nice pickup.

This reminds me of the Chuck Jones 1960s Bugs Bunny.  

It's the cape, it's all the cape.  The solid black trailing cape is amazing and draws all of attention. 

Jamie apologized, and wanted to redo the piece and redraw Spider-Man to reflect Ditko moreso.  I couldn't have him do that after seeing this piece and all the work he put into the art. He admitted he leaned towards McFarlane. 

The fine inning here is such a contrast to the Shadow piece you posted.  Nice example of Batman. 

The maniacal eyes make the blazing guns look insignificant.  The raw energy of the inks are enhanced by the Bag! Bang!

If I could double heart, this I would.  Seeing the preliminary to this finished pencil is a study in texture and finish work.  I have become a fan of words in art, and this works reminding me a B movie poster. The design captures the 60s spot movies. Awesome pickup.

Chaykin does the negative space on the slouch hat so well. It is representative of Earl Mayan's pulp interiors.  I need a full figure Shadow done that way.
