Love these older MTU's and the early meetings of Torch and Spidey always had that special feel to them. Great page by 2 artists that made Spidey theirs in the 70's. That bottom panel, the line work and boldness of Torch almost makes him 3-D.

I had acquired so many sketches I thought I should share them. And I have a few dozen more that though I don't have sketches in them, I was able to acquire artist and writer autographs. Many Neal Adams, Tom Palmer, Gene Colan, Arnold Drake, Roy Thomas, Steve Englehart, Perez, Pollard... I love this hobby, and admire the creators all!

I have to completely agree with you on what you wrote. IF one can afford the piece and regardless of what others feel about FMV, it all comes down to what YOU feel comfortable with paying. I don't know what this page sold for, but i do know that this is one of those pages burned into my memory from first reading this issue (as a reprint) but the beautiful slick inks over Don's smart pencils are stunning to behold. A hearty congratulations on a great page! I for one am glad you chose not to hide it away!

I JUST re-read this issue a couple nights a go and stared at thisa DPS in the comic for quite a while thinking how incredible this was. Now I stumble across it on your page...don't know how i missed this. Congrats on owning a stellar piece by a truly underrated artist.
