X-men 23 Variant Cover Nick Bradshaw Owner: Jason D'Ambrosio Comment posted on 6/6/2025 Bradshaw has the amazing talent to cram a ton of detail into every spot on the page while not making the overall work look too crowded. An excellent cover by an artist whose stuff is so much fun to look at. |

Avengers #297 p.12 Owner: Derek Crabbe Comment posted on 6/6/2025 I truly felt bad for the Black Knight during this story. I started reading Avengers shortly after he had rejoined the team, so for me he was one of the key members. Simonson really did him dirty here. |

Transformers #18 p.22 Owner: Derek Crabbe Comment posted on 6/6/2025 I love this page and still recall the first time I read this issue when it was brand new. My brother was collecting the monthly Transformers title at the time, which meant I didn't need to buy it since I could read his copies. This issue stuck out at me because it presented the new characters so differently from their simply showing up out of nowhere in the cartoon series. I really enjoyed how they were introduced here, and for reasons I still can't fully articulate, the final panel with the Autobots arriving on Earth really hit nine year-old me (in a good way). |

New Titans #74 p.23 Owner: Derek Crabbe Comment posted on 6/6/2025 I loved Titans Hunt. I also remember the frustration of the issues being chronically late. But when they did hit the stands? Pure excitement that few titles could outmatch for me at the time. |

Justice League America 30 p 2 - Willingham and Rubinstein Owner: Christopher Daley Comment posted on 6/6/2025 I love Willingham's Justice League art, so much so that I have a clear memory of the first time I read this issue the day after it hit the stands back in 1989. Awesome pickup! |

Hourman #18 p.7 Owner: Derek Crabbe Comment posted on 6/6/2025 Great page from a great series. And the Blisters would have been one of the worst superhero team names ever. |

|
New Gods #2 p.13 Owner: Derek Crabbe Comment posted on 6/6/2025 Powerful imagery by Cullins. I can see why this page stuck with you after so many years. Congrats on picking up such a personally meaningful page (which to me is the best kind of OA). |

Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis #43 p.1 Owner: Derek Crabbe Comment posted on 6/6/2025 Wonderful cover that brings back memories of renting VHS tapes in the 1980s of old superhero cartoons like Aquaman, Shazam! and Superman that I otherwise never would have seen as a kid. And it's great to see Tusky get some overdue respect with a cover appearance! |

Extreme Justice #11 p.15 Owner: Derek Crabbe Comment posted on 6/6/2025 Ah, Extreme Justice. A title that exemplifies the strange state of superhero comics in the mid-1990s. This page has some great shots of Maxima, and I really like the image of Firestorm in the bottom corner. Also, great recap video from OAX 2025! Only 8 months until OAX 2026! |

Brave and the Bold #154, pg 15 Owner: Lloyd White Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Aparo clearly had a good feel for drawing Metamorpho even before he drew the character monthly in "Batman and the Outsiders." Very cool page of Rex in action! |

Marvel Team-Up #150 pg. 15 (1984) - Rogue, Colossus, Nightcrawler Owner: James S Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Awesome shot of Colossus in that first panel, but I'm glad they didn't turn the thing he's wearing into one of his regular costumes. It may look sorta cool while he's in metal form, but not so much when he switches back to human form. On the other hand, I like Rogue in the yellow-orange ensemble. |

The Avengers 296, page 13, October 1988 by John Buscema and Tom Palmer Owner: Peter Roe Comment posted on 6/5/2025 There's no better Avengers art team than Big John Buscema and Tom Palmer, although I've been wondering ever since this issue first came out how Chairman Kang's facial hair works with the mask. |

This is truly outrageous! Truly, Truly, Truly outrageous! ![]() The original Dazzler series would have been much more interesting if she'd had a computer like Synergy and her main villains were a rival band consisting of members of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. |

Al Milgrom & Joe Sinnott - West Coast Avengers #13 page 13 Owner: Bill Cox Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Each panel is an absolute gem, but nothing can beat that first panel of the team waiting on the steps like kids waiting for their friend to get home so they can play. |

|
Archie's Joke Book Issue 286 Page 1 Owner: John C Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Nowadays kids report cards are often sent via email or a web portal. I guess if Archie were in a similar scenario today, he'd be infecting his parents' computers with a virus while smashing their iPhones with a hammer. |

Action Comics #588 pg. 15 Owner: <> Shemp Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Byrne beautifully captures the majesty of flying through space. Too bad Hawkman had to go ruin it by being such a jerk in the final panel. |

|
Wolverine #126 pg 21 by Leinil Yu (ft Sabretooth) Owner: K Gearon Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Yu seemed to come out of nowhere when he started drawing Wolverine, but he quickly established himself as one of the best Wolvie artists around. I still think of him first as a Wolverine artist thanks to amazing pages like this one. |

|
Blackest Night #04 Page. 02-03 Owner: David Kwock Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Reis and Albert really conveyed quite effectively the creepiness that should be inherent in a scene where multiple superheroes and villains return from the dead to cause chaos. In the hands of other artists, this scene could have come across looking silly. There's nothing silly looking here. |

|
Star Wars #70 Pg. 1 Title Splash: Millennium Falcon Owner: Kavi H Comment posted on 6/5/2025 Beautiful shot of the Falcon flying towards a planet. Growing up in the 1980s, Marvel's Star Wars comics were one of the few places where we could get a regular dose of a galaxy far, far away. The fact that they had great artwork like this is why those stories are still so well-remembered decades later. Congrats on the awesome pickup! |

Mike PERKINS 2010 THOR - Wolves Of The North 1 pg 20 vs Sexy HELA Owner: Tommy Kohlmaier Comment posted on 6/5/2025 I see that Perkins was giving us a sexy take on Hela even before Cate Blanchett showed us in the MCU that being tho Norse goddess of death doesn't mean you can't be attractive. Really great looking page! |
