Early Star Wars arc with Immonen and Von Grawbadger following the editorial choices to go with photo likenesses and doing a great job on Luke! The inking is so nuanced and bring out a Hamill performance in the faces. It was a great idea to do photo likenesses. Stuart is clearly capable and he fits them into his style perfectly. It can be hard to do, with the likeness often dominating the art. But in Star Wars with such iconic faces and actors it adds so much life to the scenes! Hamill's earnest Luke leaps off the page here. |
