Why Any of the big houses aren't proving this man with steady work is a mystery to me.

To be honest , I wasn't even familiar with Rivals work.

I was flipping through a portfolio at a local convention and this page.immediately stopped me in my tracks.

this piece really reminds of several of thos old Kirby Odin splashes from the Silver age.

I commissioned Truman to do this piece many years ago at the Pittsburgh Comicon.

I wasn't sure what Truman looked like and I accidentally walked up to Tim Vigil's table by mistake and described what I wanted and and just as I was about to close the deal I realized "Oops , wrong Tim !".

We laughed and he was super cool about it and pointed me in Truman's direction.

Truman was excited about the commission and asked if he could do it at home where he could spend more time on it.

A couple weeks later this beauty showed up .
