Did Mr. Dorman do a similar piece with aliens swimming in water in the foreground, or am I mistaken? Regardless, there is nothing like a Dorman AVP painting. Absolutely gorgeous.

VERY nice. The diffuse lighting is very important to the tone of the piece imo. I envy you snagging this. Galactus is one of my favorite characters, and anything by AR and JPL is bound to be good.

Note the revision to the wings between prelim and final. It would be interesting to know why. I favor the wings going straight back myself - more streamlined - but Mayhew's finished product looks perfect. That is one of the best Cap illustrations EVER.
