Wow!!! This is a spectacular splash page, and I love Sal's inks over his pencils! You have gotten quite the boatload of FANTASTIC Sal Buscema art lately!!!

I believe "Our Pal Sal" pencilled 2 covers of Ms. Marvel (#10 and #11)... and surprisingly, also only pencilled two Incredible Hulk covers (#277 and Annual #14).

As great as any Conan page you could ever hope to find- love the power of the half splash followed by the wonderful sequence of vertical panel story-telling... such an incredible page!

There might be no Cap, but this is such a fun page! Loved the collapsing truck when I read it for the first time 50 years ago, and have an even greater appreciation for Sal's storytelling now! So good and Jim Mooney's masterful inks just make it that much better!

From the Hulk's "PTOW!" in panel 1 to Doc and the Surfer blasting Temax in panel 6, every panel is a gem and combine to create some pretty incredible visual storytelling! Also really like the design of this page and how it contributes to the pacing!

Great John Buscema illustration from the "Beware The Linebacker" feature that ran in NFL game programs during the 1970 season! In the feature, Marvel superheroes were compared to great linebackers of that era (with an illustration of a hero by Big John matching a photo of the player). The Black Panther was compared to Green Bay Packers linebacker, Dave Robinson... "Super speed, pulsating power, awesome agility, and dauntless dedication are the characteristics of both the linebacker and the superhero." One of the rare times that John Buscema pencilled, inked and painted classic Marvel heroes!!!

Great page! Syd Shores inking really added a lot to Dick Ayers' wonderful storytelling!

Simply put the starling conclusion to... THE BEST COMIC EVER!!! Some interesting production things going on here in the 5th and 7th panels. Hard to tell if they are stats or moved panels- I'd be curious if the original drawings were larger/smaller if stats, or what was originally drawn if replacement panels.I also looks like they scratched on a clear overlay to get the white cross-hatch effect on the Hulk and "aftermath". Just an all-around amazing page!!!

KILLER PAGE (literally)!!! But seriously, a very memorable page and that bottom sequence is just incredible. And I loved Sal Buscema's inks over Smith's pencils- about as good a Conan page as you could ever hope to find!

Great page and story, Dave! You never forget your first comic (for me, Hulk 139)! These 227 pages have such great images of the Hulk, and I love Janson's inks on these!
