This is so damn cool. I missed out on it two auctions in a row (it sold twice within a year I think). Went for much more this last go around. As a huge fan of the show I fantastized about it hanging by my Star Trek collectibles in the man cave. Glad to see it went to such a good guy and resides in such an amazing collection. That's a sweet sketch. Congrats. As for Zeck, I think you can take demographic and nostalgia out of it. Whether I read the Ennis/Parlov run or not, and you have me intrigued, there's no escaping how much Zeck did to claim him and make him completely his own. His signature character who I think, inspired him to do his best work. Just bad-ass looking and Zeck completely captured his vibe. I like me some Miller Punisher too ;)

Thanks for sharing the piece, and for doing all you have done to remind us of his brilliance. I think I started collecting every book of his I could find after disovering some Legion of Super Heroes in the cheap bins. His style was instantly, and always remained, uniquely his own.
