Totally awesome Title page! 

Flash #141 was one of the handful of comics left in the basement closet by my older brother that introduced me to comics and eventually led to me collecting.  When I found out I could purchase new comics locally I thought it was so cool my recognizing the Paul Gambi character and thought he would be recurring.  Little did I know the scarcity of his appearances and until your listing I didn't realize that I managed to stumble upon his first and third appearances so many years apart.  Perhaps Gibbs was wrong and there are coincidences.

Awesome page from this issue!  As one of the losing bidders on this page, congrats on the prize.

Cool pick up and thanks for including the link to see the cell "in action".  It's certainly wonderful when we have a loving wife that allows "our indescretions".

The pages that have special meaning just for us are among the most precious out there.  Congrats on finding these and adding to your collection.

My comic collecting origin comes in three parts.  This is from part two and comes from the first comic my grandpa bought for me when I visited him in Brooklyn so will always be a special standout issue for me.  This backup story was equally etched into my head along with the main featured Superman story.  Naturally I didn't know it was Grell's first published artwork or the return of Krypto but over the years Krypto has always been a favorite and I loved Grell's work whenever I saw it.  In my emergence as an OA fan in "modern" times it was acquiring Grell artwork that really gave me the seemingly incurable bug although I have far less of it than I wish.  Very cool that you have this complete story!

A page permanently etched into the mind of every ten year old DC comic fan of the time.  Any DC bronze fan would love to own a page from this book let alone an amazing one like this!.  Couldn't ask for a better page from the comic that introduced us to Power Girl.  Woody is in a class all by himself!

Great page!  This was my second annual JLA/JSA team-up and I loved being introduced to the Earth-S heroes. I don't recall other issues with Bulletman and Bulletgirl or Mr Scarlett and Pinky aside from this two-parter but their names and images have been inscribed in my mind. Wish I could have some of that same childhood hood awe again as I got embracing the DC Universe back then.  Thanks for sharing this treasure. Dillin and McLaughlin at their finest!

Simply amazing you were able to put these three issues together in full complete with covers.  Congrats!  Those three issues are my first three issues of Brave & Bold when I first started collecting and they couldn't have been found by a better caretaker to preserve those precious gems.

Congrats on the huge achievement Nick!  Memories of this issue are strong for me ... in fact, B&B $121-123 were the first three issues of the series I picked up from my earliest month's of collecting.  My "introduction" to Metamorpho in this issue was especially stand-out because I'd seen house ads for his comic in a few of my brother's comics that I found in the basement closet and now finally got to "meet" him in a story.  Nostalgia galore here!

Sweet page!  Splashy plus bullets and bracelets!

Stand out cover that  helped forge the age of the independents!  With the birth of the direct market lots of cool stuff came our way as collectors and companies would come and go quickly.  But it was First Comics with their impressive creator and character line up that proved a company could build a line fans would come back to every month just like the big two.  Story and artwork meshed together in equal importance as it should be. As the bronze age came to a close today we say next came the copper age, but if you were collecting at the time many would say it was the "Independent Age" of comics. This cover boldly and defiantly says, "I'm here and I'm not going away ... deal with it!"  (Without First Comics paving the way would there even have been an Image?)  

Couldn't get a better example of iconic Kane layout style.  So powerful and impressive!

This page was emblazoned into my mind with its reprint in DC Special #20 a few months into my collecting.  That spectacular middle panel of emerald energy canceling out the Zegor eye-blast never to be forgotten.  And I was the perfect age that the evolved gila monsters to be a cool alien twist ...

This X-Men annual with the Fantastic Four crossover was always a favorite of mine and any Wolverine-centric page is always a treat.

Rude and Giordano brought the love to this page - absolutely gorgeous images of Diana. I love Evanier's dialogue in the last panel, "she's even inked well."  And always a joy to see any work by Aragones.

Love Ollie's swagger in this one - this wil always be how I see him.  What a wonderful representative piece for any fan of his GL/GA work.

My ten-year old self would have gone INSANE for this and my fifty plus year old self still thinks it looks awesome!  I'm a fan of Derenick's art and he knocked this one out of the ballpark.

What a memorable page!!! Loved this one - especially that first panel featuring all the Green Lanterns together ... and yes, Ibis isn't a Green Lantern but even a ten year old "got" that he was their equivalent on Earth-S.
