I love this piece! Thundarr holds a special piece in my heart as well. My dad also worked a lot as a carpenter. One time he took me on a side job on a Saturday when I was 13 years old. While he worked on renovating the owner's kitchen they let me watch some cartoons, and as fate would have it I watched Thundarr that day! My dad passed away last year, but I can't help but think of that day whenever I see Thundarr!

When I saw Philip Weiss Auctions had this listed as a Rich Buckler page I thought it might be a rare opportubity to get a vintage Perez FF page at a reasonable price. When I saw the person bidding against me was located in CA I figured it must be you! Congrats on a great find!

I loved Perez's fanzine covers as much or in some cases more than his published covers for the big companies. I used to own a color fanzine cover of the Titans by Perez and miss it dearly. Congrats!

Agreed! Years ago I commissioned Steve to draw a Space Ghost vs Birdman piece that he drew in a similar layout, and colored as well. I let that piece go years ago so this one fills that void.
