Tom really was a master...it's a pitty that most of the big comic book groups never really gave him suitable projects to bring out his real talent far more...thank you for putting this in your gallery for all of us to enjoy.

Because I'm an Aussie I really, REALLY love Legers work...this was one of his last major jobs before he returned to Australia then not long later was killed in a car crash...great art and thank you for putting it in your gallery...if you ever want to part with it just drop me a line.

This was the issue Al copied Stanley Pitt's Silver Starr art...sometimes it's hard to tell these two fantastic artists apart...just a great page.

I personally always loved the way Kirby drew Spider-Man...he originally designed the outfit as well as did the art for his first two covers (bummer he didn't get any credit in the movies)...great art, thank you for showing it.

Another great Pitt page...but it's really Pitt & Toth...as Alex Toth drew the old Witch at the top left...really just magic...thanks for including it in your gallery.

Issue #9 was the best issue of MAGNUS that Manning did, it was as close as possible to being a perfect comic book...great page Victor...I wish I had it (ha)

I remember this page...back in the '60's while I was waiting for the next Marvel comic to come out at my local newsagents I would pick up TV21 along with other British comics...I loved Cap Scarlet and never understood why the Yanks never picked him up...original story line and great art....thanks for putting it in your gallery and if you ever want to trade it please keep me in mind.

I've always respected Tom's work, he did a bloody lot of very original and cool art and this page is simply one of his most original and coolest.

Back in the '60's the Australian comic book industry was destroyed because of the mass bumping of American comics here...Marvel was everywhere and locally producd comic books were gone...but while I have bitter sweet memorers of that time I remember picking up the Gold Key comic that had this cover and I loved it...it's not the best cover they ever did but it still is a fantasic drawing...it was reprinted here for over two decades, all the art inside was shown in black and white...just a great comic cover for sure.

I believe that it is quality artwork like Russ did on this page that makes many covers and splash pages by other artists look second rate...the bottom line is simple...Russ Manning could really draw.
