Thanks for the heads up. I recall he did a Fables cover, that was really cool, and some painted Batman stuff that was very different than his work with WildStorm, but I haven't seen his fine art work...yet.

I had an opportunity to see this piece in-person while it was still on jj's drawing table. It's a beauty. Did you know that they wanted jj to paint that goofy hat with the silly eyes that Ambrose wore as a janitor, but jj suggested this instead? What an improvement. Congratulations!

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's an authentic Watterson. The line work is way too sloppy and the signature isn't even right, but I could be wrong.

Ah! The classic damsel in distress! I'm always impressed with Mark's work. His brushwork harkens to a time when artists could equally depict with mastery human anatomy as well as background elements. The comic industry is fortunate to have such a talent.
