Steve, this is what was asked for; Adam simply drew what was requested of him. And having accepted the payment for the commission well in advance of the request being changed to "something with tasteful nudity", he wasn't in a position to decline the request, even if he had a mind to, which I don't think he did. And for the record, just because you haven't seen Adam draw a man in this way doesn't mean he hasn't. It simply means that the owner of that particular sketch has chosen to not share it online.

I'd like to clarify that Adam hasn't resumed TAKING commissions; since completing Watchmen he has been working to finish overdue commissions from people that had agreed to wait for their pieces rather than accept a refund. Adam is not currently taking new commissions.

Wes did post to the group and explained his situation, which was unfortunate. But he did so more than a week after the sketch was abandoned. He only posted after seeing it here on CAF. Adam and I held onto the sketch for more than a week; when no one was looking for it, Adam sold it to Mike. It may sound cruel, but we can't be expected to sit on perfectly good art, in the hopes that someone will remember that they forgot to come looking for it. We're just glad that a fan was able to get a piece that they liked, and that the piece found a good home!

Actually; I'm going to nit-pick and say this is officially a "sketch" and not a commission. Sketches are done at shows, commissions from Adam's studio at home. Regardless, its one of the nicest Harleys I've seen Adam do; I'm in love with that face!!!! Congrats, and it was nice seeing you at Pittsburgh.
