Godzilla #7, pg 27 Owner: Lloyd White Comment posted on 6/12/2025 For twelve months, the best day of each month was when my Godzilla came in the mail. The last issue of my subscription was the last issue of Godzilla. I wrote to Marvel begging them to tell me it wasn't so, but they wrote back and told me they were sorry, but it was indeed so. I was really sad. You are so lucky to have this page with the introduction of Red Ronin! |

I can't tell, but they got to be screen tone. ![]() Sure they were, but the usage is perfect. The only reason I kept playing the first Resident Evil was I loved the household interiors, walls, wallpaper, carpet, etc., and this is what I'm reminded of in this page. So freakin' cool. The story to go with it is cool too with the topical gang violence and the teamn operating at the street level. It's the kind of thing Zeck would do all through the 80's. Day's inks are great and the patterns he worked with added great depth pushing the comics medium forward. ![]() Marcus, you rascal. You beat me to it again. Zeck and Day, two of the giants in the field, and what wowed me about the page was the cool wallpaper patterns! |

Al Williamson - Splash from Space Court - Blast Off #1 Owner: Wallace Harrington Comment posted on 6/9/2025 When I was a kid, my friend and I were camping out in my pup tent in the backyard. We decided to go in the house for something to eat, so I got out the flashlight and we headed in. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone move on the other side of the neighbor's yard, from the corner of their house to behind their little sheet metal shed. Terrified, but not wanting to appear so, I pointed my beam over there and told whoever it was to "Come out!" They came out, all right! It was the mentally unstable old man who lived next door wielding a chunk of tree limb over his head, b!tching about us shining that light in their windows. I almost wee'd myself. Anyway, to make a short story long, maybe that's what happened to our scientist from this issue. He shined his beam in the Martian's window! This is a fabulous page, and an amazingly rare find! |

John Buscema : Amazing Spider-Man #78 pg 4 Owner: Jose L. Comicart Comment posted on 6/9/2025 With the uniform, I wasn't sure if that was Flash or John Jameson in the background, so I looked the issue up on Marvel Fandom. They had a really cool trivia bit: under the credits on the splash page, it thanked JRJR for suggesting The Prowler. He would have been 13 at the time. Cool story and awesome page! |

Owner: Nick - Barry - Matt - Hal - Namor Comment posted on 6/1/2025 I was going to make a wise crack about how it would be a good piece, if it weren't for the fact that someone wrote all over it, but that would be low...even for me. Jla #154 page 19 Owner: Brian Peck Comment posted on 5/31/2025 I was an art snob, in my youth. If it wasn't Adams, or Byrne or Kaluta (who did the cover for this book) or Wrightson, it wasn't happenin', you know? I considered old-time workmen like Dillin and McLaughlin to be 'clunker artists'. I had to grow up to appreciate their talent, and I sure do. So much beautiful stuff going on in this page. This is a great acquisition. |

Plus, it's a Swanderson!! |
