CAF Update #141

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between March 27 April 3-9, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. There is this beautiful Joe Madureira Uncanny X-Men page from issue #336 that I wish I had in my collection, an Al Milgrom Spectacular Spider-Man #89 page with the Black Cat infiltrating the Baxter Building, a Conan the Barbarian #45 page by John Buscema and Crusty Bunkers (Neal Adams!), a cool Thunderstrike splash page featuring Thunderstrike and Spider-Man, a Legion of Super-Heroes #222 page by Mike Grell and Bob Wiacek, a fantastic Chris Samnee Lady Thor commission from 2014, this WARP! #1 page by Frank Brunner from 1983, the intro splash page to Batman: The Cult by Bernie Wrightson, a Jim Mooney Action Comics #332 page with Supergirl and Superboy from 1966, and finally this Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson Superman Annual #10 page from 1984. A little something for everyone's taste in this week's Heritage auction!
