Comic Art Fans Update 191

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between April 1-7, 2024, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. This week we've got a mix of published and commission style pieces that caught my eye. From the published side we've got this fantastic Mark Bagley and John Dell Spidey page from 2023 featuring panels packed with action, a Ron Garney Daredevil #1 page from 2016, a Frank Thorne strip from 1959, a Ron Lim Spider-Man novel illustration with Venom, and this frenetic The Tenth semi-splash page by Tony Daniel. On the commission side Heritage has this Ghost Rider sketch by Mark Texeira, a Dale Keown Hulk sketch from the 90's, a Michael Turner Soulfire sketch, a Batman illustration by Joe Giella, and finally a Mary Jane color commission by Brian Stelfreeze. A little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
