Description

Once in awhile you receive a piece that reminds you why you love this hobby so much. I�m a big fan of Cassaday�s Planetary and his now iconic Astonishing X-Men run; I�ve been waiting for just the right page to come along and this definitely exceeded all my expectations for a Cassaday piece. The feel of ink splatter expertly placed across the page, the use of white paint to bring out little details like Wolverine�s arm hair, the use of dry brush technique to create grit and grey tone, the use of body parts to frame and lead your eye to the main figure; lastly a near full splash image of my favorite X-Men character along with Armor; a great new character Wolverine has taken under his wing through out the series. A big thanks to Albert for this one!
