A Dalek attack squad moves slowly across no man's land...

Grail alert! Fantastic Edgar Hodges painting for Terry Nation's Dalek Annual 1976 (so painted in 1975), published by World Distributors (Manchester) Ltd. This was the first (and imho the best) of the '70s Dalek Annuals. All the art for these productions was by Hodges, including the original comic strips.

Amazingly the art is not much bigger than the printed version, but so much more vibrant than the slightly murky '70s print job. Also included is the original logo design that would be used across all 4 annuals, presumably by Hodges also. There is a small annotation in Italian...the annual was printed in Itlay.
