Description

This is the Ed Hannigan and Klaus Janson variant cover to Daredevil: Gang War (2023) #4.

This is a really sentimental piece to me. Ed had generously given me a rough drawing of Elektra and DD sometime ago (See additional images). I asked Klaus Janson to finish/ink it for an exhibit I was working on. Once completed, I knew it was so good it should be a published cover. Then I showed it to the Marvel folks who used it as the variant cover. Both Ed and Klaus were paid by Marvel as well for its use. This may be the last new Hannigan/Janson cover for Marvel.

In the additional images is a picture I took of Ed with the finished cover.
