DescriptionI'm delighted to add this to my Dave Cockrum prelim cover collection, even though it was by far the most expensive prelim I own. Dave put a tremendous amount of detail into this one and it almost could have been published as is.The published cover was by George Perez inked by Pablo Marcos. Perez was still fairly early in his career at this point, so maybe Dave decided to make the sketch very detailed to avoid any potential issues. As a reminder, I'm always interested in very finished Cockrum cover prelims, similar to the ones in this gallery. Social/Sharing |
