Description

Recently Jim Woodring has been selling originals on his website.-all for the first time. This three-page story was completed in 2008, fifteen years ago. Here is the description from his website; �Here�s a charming cultural enigma: a comic strip commissioned by the Louvre�s Les Arts Decoratifs to celebrate a small wind-up toy frog in their collection. Naturally a cowboy was called for, and when it comes to cowboys Bronco Teddy is my go-to.�

Beautiful line work with lots of ink. No white out or corrections. This is really some incredible work by an incredible draftsman.

In the story Bronco Teddy is replaced on his radio program by a mechanical toy frog. The new mechanical sound (noise!) is something the young people are crazy about.
