Bernard is an Asian-American comic book artist and designer, best known for his work in the comic book and entertainment design industries. He is currently the artist on MARVEL COMICS newest X-MEN book titled, CHILDREN OF THE ATOM, debuting January 2021, written by Vita Ayala; and was also a blue sky concept designer for Walt Disney Imagineering, designing rides and attractions. Bernard broke into the comic book industry in 1992 at the age of 20. In his first year, under the tutelage of the legendary Bob Layton at Valiant Comics, he was voted onto the WIZARD:THE GUIDE TO COMICS Top Ten Artists list, as well as being nominated for the Russ Manning Award for best newcomer. Since then, he has been the artist on TEEN TITANS, WONDER WOMAN, SUPERGIRL, SUPERMAN, GREEN LANTERN CORPS, and BATMAN BEYOND.bernardchang.com |
