Description"GOBLIN WEEK" heats up with this brand new Goblin character from "Brand New Day."(For those of you just tuning in, I have devoted this week to posting pieces that are all Goblin-related in some way. This is Day 4). Here we have the 1st full appearance of MENACE, aka Lily Hollister. MENACE was created by Salvador Larroca (the artist who created this cover) and Marc Guggenheim. Lily Hollister is the biracial daughter of Bill Hollister, an African-American candidate for the position of mayor of New York. While dating Harry Osborn, she finds a hidden door in his closet and finds an old former journal of his, which detailed the location of one of Green Goblin's secret hideouts. When she enters the hideout, she accidentally shatters vials full of a new type of Goblin Formula that make contact with her skin, mutating her. Lily Hollister was created by J. Michael Straczynski and Joe Quesada and first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #545. Social/Sharing |

Very nice. I like the perspective choice and Larroca's lines are so clean. The darker inked areas add a nice balance to the image and the Menace inset and lettering give the cover a nolstagic feel...I dig it! Congrats, Paul!

Very cool. I remember last seeing this with Coollines for years and tried to get it from them. I liked this period on Spidey and thought Menace was a cool character. Bravo!

All issue Peter was trying to find out who was under the mask of Menace. He must only only watch "local" news. It is obvious that it is Oswald Cobblepot.
