DescriptionHave long wanted to add a piece by Mohamed Aouamri from his beautiful "Saga Valta" series. Just everything from this Algerian-born talent is amazing. Aouamri created a pair of Wonder Woman commissions for a collector in 2018. Both are tremendous, but I especially enjoyed this one that seems taken from the film. Unique opportunity to see this great French artist's work on a different character for him.The finished version was done in felt-tip pen from this very complete pencil prelim. Felt so fortunate when it recently became available and I was able to add this into my collection. I try to stick with published works. Very glad to make an exception with this beauty. Size of paper is a standard A4 (8.3 inches x 11.7 inches) and drawn edge to edge. Mohamed has signed the artwork and also added his signature with an inscription on the reverse side. (Including an image of the finished inked artwork. That piece is still with the original owner.) Social/Sharing |

The prelim has lots of energy and the tonal work created by rough pencils adds greater and deeper depth through how we naturally see things with a softer edge.

Gorgeous Wonder Woman prelim by Mohamed Aouamri! I enjoy these prelims almost as much as finishes!

I totally agree Bill. Hard to imagine this as "unfinished" art.
The man is a master illustrator.

Beautiful artwork! I wouldn't have thought it was a prelim if you hadn't noted it in the description.

Totally agree with you.
She is a beauty and complete in my eyes. Can not imagine having the talent that Aouamri has!
